Best apartments in Rexburg under ?

Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $384,000 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 39,589 people. Poverty rate is 16.0%, which is higher than I expected. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Low taxes
- Lots of new development
- Walkable downtown
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Sprawl everywhere
- Lack of diversity
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Cheers. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely pretty good and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Westside) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in West for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The housing market scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Hope this helps!.
