Planning a move to Rialto -neighborhoods?

Alright, Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Rialto sits at 572.3 per 100K. Homes are going for about $454,400 on average. Household incomes average around $85,521 in Rialto. You can expect to pay around $1,641 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The school system is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Midtown for 10 years. Moved from New York for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is average. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. government is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is improving - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Midtown schools are better than expected. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Traffic during rush hour is rough. Limited public transit options. And walkability can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 9/10. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Seattle it's improving.

I've been in Pine Hills for 13 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
retail is strong here. real estate is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
the quality of life is solid. The outdoor scene is improving - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Pine Hills schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2017 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 7 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Denver about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..
