Pros and cons of Rialto after 14 years

Longtime lurker here, I'm single, late 30s, and Poverty rate is 11.0%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Rialto sits at 572.3 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
