Rialto vs Garden Grove — which is better to move to?

My partner and I are deciding between Rialto and West Jordan for our next move. We care most about:
- Cost of living
- Safety
- Job market (education)
- Outdoor activities

Anyone who's lived in either or both — which would you choose and why?

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

Coming from Boston, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

Moved here last year. No regrets. So many outdoor activities.

The job market has been improving lately. Several logistics companies moved in recently.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

If you can afford it, Downtown is the best place to live. Period.

Totally agree with this. I've been here 11 years and my experience is very similar.

Check out the Downtown area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

I'd add that the parks here are amazing for families. Otherwise spot on!

I've lived in Eastside for 9 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

As someone who moved here from Boston, I can confirm most of this. The cost of living surprised me the most.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.
