Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $454,400, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. I've lived in Greenfield for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The safety scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..
