Is Richardson worth it salary-wise?

Curious what people think. Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in education. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

No regrets on my end..
