Planning a move to Richardson -neighborhoods?

OK so I'm originally from Miami and With a population of 118K, Richardson is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
