Richland quality of life -am I missing something?

Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $1,397/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Meadowbrook area are excellent. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
