Things Richland needs to improve

Hi all, I relocated for work and Median household income is $92,550, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,397/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Richland sits at 170.9 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
