How is Richmond for outdoor activities?
Poverty rate is 9.5%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 115K people. Rent is about $1,895/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for Richmond? TIA! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
