Things Richmond Heights needs to improve

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $344,200, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $63,750 in Richmond Heights. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from San Diego about 2 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is average.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 11 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
