Is Richmond Heights worth moving to in 2026?

Hello, The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 8 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The public transit is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for work and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much established but now it's challenging.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
