Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 30s, and Household incomes average around $89,910 in Richmond Hill. Homes are going for about $272,100 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? Thanks for reading.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Fairview for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- The healthcare scene is average
The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from LA about 5 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
