Best kept secrets of Richmond, IN

Hello, I'm a teacher here and With a population of 35,551, Richmond is a smaller city. The city has invested a lot in new development. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
