Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,551 people. With a population of 35,551, Richmond is a smaller city. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
