Living in Richmond -the reality

Hey everyone, With a population of 35,551, Richmond is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Fairview area are solid. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
