Richmond vs Denver -which is better?
Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. With a population of 35,551, Richmond is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $107,600, which is actually reasonable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.
