First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. You can expect to pay around $815 for rent here. Median household income is $46,395, which feels on the lower side for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Richmond? Thanks! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development.
