Starting a business in Richmond?

I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Richmond sits at 372.3 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Richmond? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Moved here from Charlotte about 15 years ago. I love the pace of life here. Still getting used to outdoor recreation but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for retirement and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The public transit is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
