What to expect moving to Richmond?

OK so Born and raised here. Median household income is $68,564, which feels about average for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. Would love some local perspective.

I've lived in East for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The healthcare scene is tough

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..
