Things Richmond needs to improve

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. You can expect to pay around $1,314 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
