My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The pet-friendliness is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Indian places. I love the pace of life here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely challenging and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Downtown) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I work in consulting here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is decent. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Tampa about 6 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is average.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
