Co-working spaces in Ridge?

Rent is about $1,984/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Ridge sits at 22.0 per 100K. Household incomes average around $88,266 in Ridge. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for school and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The weather is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a electrician and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is solid in most areas.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Seattle it's solid.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Houston about 14 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is decent.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely pretty good and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (West) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
