Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $88,266 in Ridge. Median household income is $88,266, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $404,900 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Portland it's solid.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a nurse and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 11 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
