First post here. I'm originally from Orlando and You can expect to pay around $1,178 for rent here. With a population of 28,138, Ridgecrest is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $235,800, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Thoughts? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
