Job market in Ridgecrest for tech?

So, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,178/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,178 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much wild but now it's challenging.
