Pros and cons of Ridgefield after 11 years

Hey, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 11,439, Ridgefield is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 11,439 people. You can expect to pay around $1,935 for rent here. Homes are going for about $609,700 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
