How are the schools in Ridgefield Park?

Curious what people think. I'm a 49-year-old pharmacist and Homes are going for about $459,400 on average. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Charlotte about 5 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much developing but now it's decent.
