Is Ridgefield Park walkable?

Hey folks, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $98,184 in Ridgefield Park. With a population of 13,167, Ridgefield Park is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Ridgefield Park sits at 53.9 per 100K. Rent is about $1,633/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,633 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Dallas about 2 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
