Best apartments in Ridgeland under ?

Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $63,470, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Salt Lake City it's surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Tampa about 10 years ago. The main reasons were school and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is solid.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. No regrets on my end..

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great craft beer places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Nashville about 7 years ago. The main reasons were school and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. No regrets on my end..
