Commute times in Ridgeland -how bad?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in energy and Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
