How is Rincon for outdoor activities?

Hey, Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $1,248 for rent here. With a population of 11,152, Rincon is a small town. Poverty rate is 9.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $230,300, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Boston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is average.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
