Couple moving to Rio del Mar from out of state

So, Just moved here 8 months ago and Rent is about $3,172/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $1,242,600 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Thinking about relocating to Rio del Mar from Houston

The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $1,242,600, which is pretty steep. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts.
