Dog-friendly places in Rio Grande City?

Hey everyone, I've been here for 15 years and It's a a small town city with about 15,258 people. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Hope this helps!.
