How is the nightlife in Rio Hondo?

Curious what people think. I'm a remote worker and With a population of 1,970, Rio Hondo is a small town. Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $834/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Rio Hondo sits at 249.5 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here?
