Dog-friendly places in Rio Rancho?

Hey everyone, Military spouse here. It's a a mid-size city city with about 107K people. Homes are going for about $273,300 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great BBQ places. it was the best decision I ever made.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Pittsburgh it's challenging.
