Moving to Rio Rancho with kids -good idea?

Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $1,481 for rent here. Rent is about $1,481/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Came here for work and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The dating scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much stable but now it's better than expected.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Fairview area are improving. Kids love it here.
