Hey, Been living here since 2009. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,481/month for a decent place. With a population of 107K, Rio Rancho is a mid-size city. Crime rate is something to consider -Rio Rancho sits at 190.2 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 107K people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

- Good internet infrastructure

- Homelessness issues downtown
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
