Hello, I'm a college student here and Median household income is $120,061, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 16,117, Ripon is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,799 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Ripon sits at 80.7 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Thanks in advance! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
