Job market in River Falls for tech?

Curious what people think. Homes are going for about $299,800 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,050 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 14 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
