Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -River Forest sits at 110.4 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? Thanks! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
