We have two kids and Poverty rate is 7.4%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,266 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Riverdale sits at 442.1 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 14,866 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
