Rent prices in Riverside getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Riverside? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1812 for a 2BR which feels like a lot.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Eastside and Downtown are perfectly safe.

Check out the Pine Grove area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

I work in healthcare and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 1 months.

Coming from Seattle, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

The job market has been improving lately. Several healthcare companies moved in recently.
