Grocery stores in Riverview Park -recommendations?

Random thought, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,403 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any advice would be great.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely solid and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Downtown) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Houston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is better than expected.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
