Best restaurants in Riviera Beach?

Curious what people think. Homes are going for about $311,900 on average. With a population of 38,032, Riviera Beach is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? Appreciate any input. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much stable but now it's surprisingly good.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2022 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in The Heights. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The weather scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Atlanta about 7 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is tough.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
