Riviera Beach vs Tucson -which is better?

Curious what people think. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Highland for 11 years. Moved from Dallas for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
legal is strong here. healthcare is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is tough - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Highland schools are solid. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Winters are long and cold. And job market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 8/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Dallas about 9 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The cultural scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
