What I wish I knew before living in Riviera Beach

Hey everyone, Just moved here 2 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,945 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $334,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Riviera Beach sits at 1,338.5 per 100K. Household incomes average around $110,136 in Riviera Beach. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Diverse community
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Boring for young people
- Not enough green space
Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Meadowbrook area are tough. Kids love it here.
