Quick question about Roanoke

So, Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Charlotte it's challenging.
