Random thought, I work in finance and You can expect to pay around $920 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Dallas about 7 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
