What's it really like living in Robstown?

Random thought, My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $39,124 in Robstown. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Phoenix about 4 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to New York it's hit or miss.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
